Mr. David Omholt, CFE (Certified Franchise Executive), is the Senior Franchise Advisor for the iFranchise Group’s Dallas, TX office. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University. His areas of expertise include franchise development and marketing strategies for businesses in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area and across the Southwest and beyond. He is a frequent guest lecturer at universities, conferences, and talk shows because franchising, entrepreneurship, and small business ownership are topics.

According to the organization, International Franchise Association (IFA) members have named Mr. Omholt one of the country’s top franchise consultants. He has a wealth of franchise consulting experience in both the private and public sectors and international franchise development. Mr. Omholt has had the unique experience of being both a Licensor and a Licensee, providing his clients with a balanced, real-world perspective. Additionally, Mr. Omholt serves as the founder and president of The Entrepreneur Authority, a leading franchise brokerage firm that is a strategic partner of the iFranchise Group and his work for the iFranchise Group.

Before starting his own business, Mr. Omholt worked as an executive with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) in their retail industry consulting practice. During her time with Accenture, Mr. Omholt worked with many Global 500 companies, including Best Buy, Eddie Bauer, Eurocard/GZS, JC Penney, Kroger, Meijer, Radio Shack, Sears Roebuck, Sears Canada, Sears Mexico, Walgreens, and many others. The breakthrough success and turnaround that Mr. Omholt’s projects have brought to their clients have earned them international recognition.

Mr. David Omholt’s experience as a Senior Consultant with iFranchise Group includes consulting for major franchisors such as Charles Schwab, Checkers, Denny’s, Potbelly Sandwich Works, and other well-known names in the industry, as well as start-up franchisors in a variety of industry segments both domestically and internationally, thanks to his fluency in the Spanish language.

In addition to being a prolific writer, Mr. Omholt contributed to the book Achieving Quality Performance, which outlines how improved teamwork and innovation and quality lead to overall improved business performance. He is frequently quoted in various publications on franchising trends and topics. In addition to Duke University, Mr. Omholt has lectured at Notre Dame University, Purdue University, University of Dallas, and other institutions to undergraduate and graduate students.

Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management awarded Mr. David Omholt CFE a bachelor’s degree in business administration. The school’s executive forum recently named him its prestigious Krannert Executive Forum. The University of Texas at El Paso’s Franchise Management Certificate program and the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business & Entrepreneurship at NOVA Southeastern University’s Fast Track MBA in Franchise Management are his other accomplishments.
