In establishing Spherion as an aspiring global brand, Katherine acknowledges her husband, Justin Kleemann as the partner. Together, they founded they opened the Spherion, Bryan franchise office in 2008. In 2010 they expanded to Brenham, TX, and recently their third office in Conroe, TX. Katherine manages the general staffing side of the business.
Katherine enjoys fostering relationships with her clients and candidates in the community and has a strong sense of pride in the team she has assembled in all three offices. She is very active in the Brazos Valley community, currently serving as the immediate Past-President of the Brazos Valley Society of Human Resource Managers (BV-SHRM). Katherine says, “My passion as a recruiter is to help my clients grow their businesses with the best-fit talent. To do this, I am passionate about getting to know the businesses we serve from the inside out, making myself knowledgeable about their industry, the skill-sets they look for, and the corporate environment they have created. I am a small business owner myself, and I know first-hand the challenges of growing a business, and talent and labor are among the most important and challenging parts of business growth. I am proud to have a role in the growth of many businesses across the great communities we serve.”
So, suppose you are curious about where Katherine learned all her business skills. In that case, she credits her Marketing Intern experience with National Instruments and Event Marketing role with St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, where she worked for four years. At St. Jude, Katherine developed her passion for helping people. She managed fundraising for the charity with wonderful mentors who taught her how to communicate, demonstrate her passion, and induce the same in others.
