“Franchise Ambassador” Paul Whitaker CFE has more than 28 years of experience in franchising. He is a true believer in the power of the franchising business model to enable people to achieve their goal of working for themselves. Because franchising altered the course of his life, he now wants to assist others in finding the ideal opportunity to do the same. Because of his family’s wealth, he wishes to “pay it forward” to those less fortunate. “Selfless service” is very important to him as a consultant, and he approaches his work from this perspective.

As Paul’s career progressed in corporate America, he took on more marketing and business development responsibilities. General Motors and Hallmark Cards, Incorporated employed him for long periods. Throughout his time at both organizations, Paul spent a significant amount of time working with both the dealership and franchise owner networks. A successful multi-unit franchisee, he also has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to draw from in this area.

They became multi-unit franchisees for a global kitchen and bath business in 2003, owning the territory of Kansas City and a portion of mid-Missouri. Many accolades have been bestowed on them throughout their 15 years of ownership, including Franchisee of the Year and Global Franchise of the Year. Every year they were in business, their franchise rated among the top five worldwide in total installation dollars.

In 2018, Paul sold his business and joined the largest franchise development organization in the United States. To his delight, he became passionate about guiding potential franchisees through the selection process and guiding them to a lucrative business venture. For the first time in his career, he has joined the elite FranChoice family of franchise consultants. He’s happy to use his “selfless service” mentality and beliefs to assist others in realizing their aspirations through franchising.

With undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas, Paul Whitaker CFE went on to earn an MBA at the University of Michigan. He is married to Amy, has two children and two dogs, and now lives in Kansas City with them. He is a sports fanatic who also loves to travel and learn about new things related to health, fitness, and well-being.
