Startup Brokerage in Hawaii Taken up By the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Brand

The affiliation of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Rainbow Island Properties, located in the Hanalei neighborhood on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, was announced today by Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC.

Tim Ross and Joyce Wright Funk, seasoned real estate experts with more than 30 years of expertise, are the company’s owners and operators. Tim, who is initially from Northern California, moved to Hawaii four years ago and has since built up a loyal clientele. Joyce, who was born and raised in Beverly Hills, initially obtained her real estate license in California in 1989 before relocating to Hawaii in 2007. She is now the first Black woman to own the Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate business.

Ross and Wright Funk will create a full-service company when they launch the brokerage under the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand, giving affiliated agents access to exclusive lead generation channels, technology resources, and business-building tools, as well as distinctive lifestyle content like Better Homes & Gardens magazine. The company will also provide affiliated agents with the chance to develop their professional networks and skill sets through Be Better University®, the renowned learning tool for the company.

To improve the customer experience, Ross and Wright Funk will also make use of the brand’s sophisticated marketing tools.
