Fresh-off-the-Grill Fajita Pete’s fajita catering & delivery has now opened its 25th location in Las Colinas, Texas. The company’s expansion in 2021 has been supported by a robust development pipeline and the addition of units by multi-unit franchisees.
This new location propels the sizzling brand, just named one of QSR’s Best Franchisee Deals of 2021, to a 30% unit growth rate in 2021. The company will close in 2021 with six franchised locations already built and five more under construction to open by the end of Q1 2022. This will be franchisee John Gonzalez’s second facility, having previously opened one in Southlake, Texas.
According to John Gonzalez, his original Fajita Pete’s site in Southlake was a profitable and successful endeavor, and they are now pleased to build the second facility in Las Colinas. The neighborhood has been extremely receptive to the cuisine and service, and the brand’s future is really exciting. While all Fajita Pete’s franchisees are culinary enthusiasts, the concept continues to draw seasoned restaurant operators due to its small-footprint restaurant model, which results in lower rent, utility, construction, and maintenance costs.
Pedro Mora, the founder of Fajita Pete, stated that the company’s success throughout all pandemic stages demonstrates the business model’s viability.
