With Mother’s Day right around the corner, what can be a better gift than getting some makeover done? Why not show your gratitude to your mother by gifting her a Color and Style Analysis appointment with a House of Colour consultant? The Color Analysis service lasts between 2 to 3 hours, providing a scientific-based color analysis process, which identifies an individual’s color palette or “season.” The House of Colour consultant then shows the client how to wear their colors and which colors are their best showstoppers, known as WOW colors. The consultant also helps clients find makeup colors that match their new color palette and recommends five simple products that make them look and feel great in just 90 seconds. Meanwhile, a Style Analysis appointment provides personalized recommendations on clothing styles that will suit an individual’s unique personality and physique throughout their lifetime, regardless of fashion trends. During the Personal Style Consultation, House of Colour Consultants combine the client’s identity and body shape to help them create a wardrobe that enhances their appearance and reflects their authentic self. To create a sustainable and confidence-boosting wardrobe, it is suggested to follow up the initial Color Analysis with a Style Analysis.
House of Colour offers group appointments that allow you to have a fun and memorable experience with your loved ones. A mother-daughter color consultation can be an excellent bonding opportunity. It’s worth noting that family members may not have the same color season, making it a unique and exciting experience to share together.
This Mother’s Day, why not give your mom a gift that she will treasure for years to come? House of Colour’s exclusive Color and Style Analysis appointments are an ideal way to demonstrate how much she means to you. Since the mid-1980s, House of Colour has been providing top-quality personal Color and Style analysis. The roots of this analysis can be traced back to Hollywood, where an artist named Robert Dorr observed how the colors worn by an actress could affect her appearance. He later developed a color grouping system based on Johannes Itten’s theories, which led to the development of color analysis frameworks such as the popular 4-season system.
However, in the 1980s, a leading Image Consultant in the U.K. named Carolyn Miller realized that while the four-season system was easy to understand, it was too rigid and inflexible to provide clients with a truly individualized color analysis. As a result, House of Colour developed a more advanced system that takes into account each client’s unique characteristics and provides personalized recommendations that are both representatives of their best colors and are easy to use.
