Georgia's First Two Capital Tacos Locations to Launch

Georgia will be the first state where Capital Tacos, the former corner taco stand turned Tex-Mex eatery, opens its first storefronts. The first one is scheduled to open in April at 11160 Medlock Bridge Road #140 in Johns Creek, and the second one to follow shortly after at 5270 Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree Corners.

The Atlanta community can expect scratch-made, unique flavors from Capital Tacos that are created with the best in-house components.

The Capital Tacos team, which was founded in nearby Tampa, is firmly committed to making the brand a popular gathering place for Tex-Mex fans, families, and eaters in Johns Creek and Peachtree Corners.

Capital Tacos, which was established in late 2013, is renowned for serving Tex-Mex food and giving back to the communities they serve. Capital Tacos is re-releasing their Atlanta-inspired Lemon Pepper Wet taco, which was introduced as part of a digital pop-up last year, in celebration of their opening in brick-and-mortar in Atlanta. They’ve added fried shrimp coated in garlic butter to the Atlanta original, and they’ve topped it with creamy slaw, grilled onions, buffalo ranch, and their own lemon pepper spice blend.

Josh Luger, a co-founder of Capital Tacos, said that visitors from Atlanta have been inquiring about the concept’s expansion into nearby markets for years. Finally, the anticipation is over! The opening of our first physical sites in Johns Creek and Peachtree Corners fills us with joy and humility.

Today, Tampa, Florida-based Capital Tacos is a nationally recognized, fast-casual Tex-Mex restaurant franchise. Among many other accolades, the Tampa area eatery was named one of the top three taco restaurants in the country and the second-best restaurant overall.
