FASTSIGNS International, Inc., a global leader in the sign and visual graphics industry with over 765 locations in eight countries, held its 13th annual Outside Sales Summit from August 10-12, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The event brought together a diverse audience of 596 participants, including attendees, corporate staff, and exhibitors. The theme for this year’s summit was “Rev It Up,” focusing on celebrating the network’s remarkable sales achievements between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023.
During the awards ceremony, a total of 269 Outside Sales Professionals were recognized for their outstanding contributions, with 56 individuals receiving the prestigious Platinum Award for achieving over $1 million in individual sales during the 12-month period. Additionally, 50 individuals earned the title of Certified FASTSIGNS Sales Executives after successfully completing an extensive certification program, marking a record-breaking year for the network.
Angela Allison, hailing from FASTSIGNS® of Lancaster, PA, received the Catherine Monson Salesperson of the Year Award. This award, presented for the fifth consecutive year, honors an Outside Sales Professional who exemplifies the brand’s spirit and principles, both within the business community and the FASTSIGNS network.
Andrea Hohermuth, President of FASTSIGNS International, Inc., shared her enthusiasm for the event, stating, “Our 13th Outside Sales Summit in Indianapolis this year was an exhilarating experience for FASTSIGNS attendees and especially memorable as my first as President of FASTSIGNS. The summit featured notable speakers, including Walter Bond, Author, Advisor, and Catalyst, who discussed “Having a Shark Mindset to Achieve Peak Performance,” and Mike Weinberg, Best-Selling Author and Award-Winning Sales Leader, who shared insights on “A Foolproof Framework to Win More New Sales.” Additional speakers covered various topics, such as leveraging AI to enhance the sales process, using data to improve sales strategies, building a comprehensive sales toolkit, and optimizing lead capture and conversion. Informative roundtable discussions and more enriched the event.
In addition to recognizing sales achievements, the Outside Sales Summit emphasized community engagement. FASTSIGNS® franchisees, employees, vendors, and corporate staff participated in the FASTSIGNS Community Giveback event, titled “Breakfast with a Purpose.” During this event, 200 care packages were assembled for hospitalized and homeless veterans at the Indianapolis VA Medical Center.
