Popeyes has distinguished itself as a fast-food chain that specializes in a New Orleans-style menu featuring spicy chicken, chicken tenders, fried shrimp, and other regional items. The chain has over 3,600 restaurants not only in the U.S. but across borders serving the Louisiana heritage.

After six tremendous years in Popeyes, Mareno joined as the Director, of Domestic New Business with the Church’s Chicken. She was the head of the franchising team.

Further, Mareno joined FAT Brands Inc. as the Senior Manager of Franchise Sales where she helped the entrepreneurs grow their portfolios. FAT Brands Inc. owns a series of well-known restaurants and is a leading global franchising company. They acquire, marketed, and developed fast casual and dining restaurant concepts around the world. Some of the brands that are under the portfolio of FAT Brands Inc. are Round Table Pizza, Fatburger, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Ponderosa, Bonanza Steakhouses, Fazoli’s, and eleven others. with over 2,300 units worldwide.

Mareno is also the proud owner of Mareno & Mareno, a firm that deals with Real Estate Development and Franchise Development.

Currently, Tanya Mareno is the Senior Director of Sales at the Focus Brands LLC. Focus Brands is an Atlanta-based leading developer of a global multi-channel foodservice brand.
